Antibacterial Yarn

Antibacterial, Antiviral Yarn or Fabric

Features of Antibacterial, Antiviral Yarn and Fabric

The antibacterial masterbatch manufactured by the general extrusion method cannot produce yarn because cutting/breaking phenomena occur during the fiber spinning process. In order to overcome this problem, PET fabric is coated with a one-component binder in which antibacterial inorganic particles are dispersed to manufacture yarn. The yarns and fabrics manufactured in this way lose their antibacterial function as the washing process is repeated, resulting in weak washing resistance, weather resistance, and durability.
We manufacture masterbatches by applying a processing that impregnates high content of highly dispersed ZnO particles within PET and nylon synthetic resins, thus overcoming the cutting/breaking phenomenon in the fiber spinning process and then manufacturing antibacterial fibers with excellent washing resistance, weather resistance and durability.

Features of Antibacterial, Antiviral Non-woven Fabric

The general antibacterial masterbatch manufactured by the exising extusion process is difficult to apply to the nonwoven fiber spinning process. By using the ZnO nanoparticle dispersion and the uniform networked impregnation processing technology, the nonwoven antibacterial fiber spinning process is successfully manufactured.
